Expert 011171 is a practicing Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and consultant, with 35 years of experience. In addition to his direct engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) background, he also maintains expertise in complex systems and equipment failure analysis, accident reconstruction, process hazard and risk assessment, thermal and stress analysis, fire and explosion investigation and construction claims consulting. His investigations include boiler, piping and pressure vessel failures and explosions, structural failures and collapses, and equipment fires and explosions.


Power Utilities Protection Systems

Expert 011113 has over 30 years’ experience as a Senior Systems Engineer. He has extensive knowledge within the power sector including product & application assignments in protective relays and communication equipment used for industrial and utility electrical systems. His area of expertise is in the determination of relay settings to meet specific job requirements creating protection in generation, transmission and distribution systems. As a marketer he has completed assignments in customer interface, product preparation and presentation of materials.


Aerospace Medicine and Human Performance

Expert 011174 specializes in aerospace human factors, aviation safety, patient safety, and has a unique background as one of very few qualified military pilot-aerospace researchers and experts. As the first F-16 “Pilot-Physician” in the USAF, he was recruited to help reduce the incidence of accidents and fatalities from Spatial Disorientation and High Sustained G forces. Having studied human performance in the air, and in high risk areas of hospitals, he is expert in both these domains, and has worked in knowledge and behavior transfer from cockpit to operating room and ER.
