AViCON 2018: Breakout Session on 3D Printing

For the past 20 years, the AViCON program has featured several industry lead discussions including two interactive, hands-on, breakout sessions. Attendees get out of the event hall and into the laboratories, studio and testing bay of RTI to experience real-world examples of resolving aviation claims.

Focusing on emerging technologies in aviation, one of this year's breakout sessions will focus on 3-D printing as it relates to insurance, manufacturing, and product liability. This panel, led by Lisa Savitt, Partner at The Axelrod Firm, will also include:

  • Lili Beneda Rubenstein, Senior Complex Claims Director at AIG Aerospace Insurance Services,
  • Lauren Haertlein, Director of Safety & Regulatory Affairs at General Aviation Manufacturers Association ( GAMA), and
  • Mike Gordon, Senior Aerospace Engineer specializing in Materials Science at Piper Aircraft.
