Ted Dunlap to speak on drones aiding accident investigations

Come to the Chicago Bar Association Aviation Committee meeting on June 1 and learn more about how Drones can help aid accident investigation

We've all heard about the dangers that Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), or Drones, pose to our airspace, our safety, and our privacy.  To us at RTI, we wondered how this exciting new technology could make accident investigation and emergency response, better, cheaper, and safer.  Next week at 12:15 on June 1, join Ted Dunlap, RTI's General Counsel at the Chicago Bar Association Aviation meeting to learn more about how drones will impact the aviation industry, in a good way.

What:  Chicago Bar Association Aviation Committee Presentation

Where:   CBA Headquarters, 321 S. Plymouth Ct, Chicago IL 60604
When:   June 1, 2016, 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
CLE:  Illinois MCLE credit will be awarded based through CBA

Ted Dunlap, RTI's General Counsel, will present on how Drones can be effectively used to improve accident investigation and to help document and preserve evidence.  The presentation will touch on FAA issues regarding the use of UAS, the current and potential uses of the technology, and how to interact with the NTSB during its official investigation. Expect a stirring discussion from the many aviation professionals who attend the event.
